Sun in AquariusAbout Anita Baker
Soul and R&B icon whose rich contralto voice and sophisticated style redefined romantic music in the 1980s with albums like Rapture and Giving You the Best That I Got. A multiple Grammy winner, Baker is celebrated for her impeccable phrasing and her ability to infuse jazz sensitivity into popular music.
Anita Baker the Aquarius
Aquarius thinks sideways. A fixed air sign ruled traditionally by Saturn and modernly by Uranus, Aquarius holds the structure and the disruption at once: systems-minded enough to see how a thing actually works, contrary enough to ask why it should work that way at all. The result is a sign that is genuinely, unperformatively original.
In Chinese astrology
Anita Baker is a Fire Rooster in the Chinese zodiac.
