What Pisces is really like

Pisces has thin walls. A mutable water sign ruled traditionally by Jupiter and modernly by Neptune, Pisces takes the world in without much filter: other people's moods, the atmosphere of a place, the feeling under a piece of music. It makes for extraordinary empathy and an ongoing problem of telling one's own feelings from everyone else's.

The imagination is the great gift. Pisces lives partly somewhere else, and returns with things the rest of us didn't see: art, insight, the exact right words for something that had no words. Compassion follows naturally: Pisces forgives easily, assumes the kind interpretation, and is drawn to whoever in the room is struggling. There's a gentleness here that people find genuinely restful.

The growth edge is edges. Without boundaries Pisces absorbs everything and then needs to escape it, and escape is the shadow: the drift, the vagueness, the quiet disappearing act when reality gets sharp. Learning that saying no protects the softness rather than betraying it, and that dreams need scaffolding to become anything, is the whole assignment. A grounded Pisces is quietly one of the most powerful people in the room.
