About Epicurus
Ancient Greek philosopher who founded the school of philosophy known as Epicureanism. He taught that pleasure, specifically the absence of pain and mental disturbance, is the greatest good. His ideas about atomism and the pursuit of tranquility influenced Roman philosophy and were revived during the Enlightenment.
Epicurus the Aquarius
Aquarius thinks sideways. A fixed air sign ruled traditionally by Saturn and modernly by Uranus, Aquarius holds the structure and the disruption at once: systems-minded enough to see how a thing actually works, contrary enough to ask why it should work that way at all. The result is a sign that is genuinely, unperformatively original.
In Chinese astrology
Epicurus is a Metal Rat in the Chinese zodiac.
