Jerry Garcia

About Jerry Garcia

Grateful Dead frontman whose improvisational guitar work and the Dead's communal ethos created rock's most devoted fan culture.

Jerry Garcia the Leo

Leo is warmth with the volume up. A fixed fire sign ruled by the Sun itself, Leo is here to create, to express, and to make the people nearby feel a bit more alive for having been noticed. The reputation for wanting attention undersells it: what Leo actually wants is to be seen, which is a different and more human thing.
