Sun in TaurusAbout John Waters
The self-proclaimed Pope of Trash, filmmaker and cult icon who brought bad taste to high art with films like Pink Flamingos, Hairspray, and Serial Mom. Waters pioneered transgressive cinema and his subversive worldview made him one of American pop culture's most original and irreplaceable figures.
John Waters the Taurus
Taurus is the zodiac's steady hand. A fixed earth sign ruled by Venus, Taurus builds: slowly, deliberately, and to last. There's an unhurried quality here that can read as slowness from the outside and feels, from the inside, simply like refusing to be rushed into something that isn't right yet.
In Chinese astrology
John Waters is a Fire Dog in the Chinese zodiac.
