About Thomas Hobbes
English philosopher best known for his 1651 work Leviathan, which established the foundation for Western political philosophy and social contract theory. He argued that life in a state of nature would be solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short, justifying strong central authority. His materialist and mechanistic worldview challenged religious orthodoxy.
Thomas Hobbes the Aries
Aries is the zodiac's opening act: the first spark, the one who moves before the room has finished deliberating. Ruled by Mars and born at the very start of spring, an Aries runs on initiative. Where others weigh, Aries begins, and that willingness to go first is a genuine form of courage rather than simple impatience.
